Mobile Training Unit

Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Connecticut

  • The English Language Program provides year-round ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes to assist immigrant and refugee adults in the New England region become successful workers, parents and members of the community.

  • ​Integrated education and training classes prepares individuals to enter the healthcare industry as ancillary support professionals  such as food and nutrition aide, therapeutic recreation aide, housekeeping and laundry support, receptionist, unit secretary, and admissions assistant.

  • Adult basic education helps adults engage in sustained self-educating activities in order to gain the knowledge, skills attitudes needed to fully integrated in the community.

  • Computer literacy prepares individuals the ability to use a computer for knowledge, skills and abilities with the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
